Gardec protects new dry dock against corrosion with Bjonds'knowledge

Gardec, is going to build a new dry dock. For this, long-term corrosion protection is crucial. Gardec requires a lifespan of more than 25 years for the coating systems to be applied. Bjond has been asked to write a cut-to-size coating specification that has been used in the prepared specification. The specification has been drawn up in accordance with the methodology developed by Bjond: Product, Process, People. These are the three key factors that determine the quality and lifespan of a coating job.

With this approach, the most appropriate ("fit for purpose") coating systems (products) can be selected on the basis of what will happen during construction, rather than just on laboratory testing. Bjond looks with knowledge beyond existing standards, alway in the interest of its customers.
